Q. I have seen the term "goldfill" used throughout your site. What is goldfill?
A. There is gold plated and there is goldfill. Gold plated is a base metal electroplated with a fine layer of gold, or even just gold colour. I use goldfill wire, which is brass wire coated with 12K or 14K gold, by using a method involving heat and pressure. Goldfill has more gold, and will last alot longer. As an example, a ring made using goldfill wire, that is worn everyday, will not show any sign of wear for at least 3 years, and that is only on the inside of the ring that is in constant contact with the finger. The gold will last much longer on the outside. Gold wire is also available, but obviously at a price. This can be quoted on at time of enquiry.
Q. How do I place an order?
A. For pre-made jewellery in the catalogue, just click on the 'Add to Basket!' button. To View your cart or to checkout, click on the 'View Cart' Button near the top left of your menu and simply follow the prompts during the checking out procedure. There will no longer be custom orders.
Q. How do I make payment?
A. You now only have the option of direct deposit. Apologies, credit card or PayPal options are no longer available.
Q. Do you sell internationally?
A. Not any more sorry.
Q. How do I care for my purchase?
A. I recommend the use of a jewellery polishing cloth to polish your jewellery. Liquid jewellery cleaners are not recommend as some metals are oxodised and the cleaners can remove these effects. Also some beads may loose their colour or be damaged by the chemicals that are used.
